I can make it using multiple grid systems and place them one above the other, but it would be more easy working with a built in system.
- A layer would define one horizontal XZ grid system
- The number of Layers would represent the number of grids stacked one above the other
- We could define a layer offset for vertical spacing between each layer
- We could show/hide any layer and work on one selected layer only
This could be a new feature to get 3 dimensionnal worlds editing, somewhat like platforming games or Mario World 3D for example.
